About the Artist: Born in Paisley, Scotland, David Farquhar's passion for art emerged in his early childhood through his fondness for sketching. He pursued his creative journey by studying Illustration and Printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone Art School in Dundee. Currently residing in Glasgow, David has established himself as a versatile artist, working as a freelance illustrator, portrait artist, and Make-up Artistry Lecturer.

Human Behavior and Relationships: David's deep fascination with human behavior and relationships has led him towards character-based work and portraiture. Each of his pieces is meticulously hand-drawn, then digitally scanned and edited. His artistic exploration has converged on monochromatic pencil drawings, where his mastery of light and shadow takes center stage. Beyond pencils, David also adeptly employs inks, markers, and mixed media to further enrich his creations.
